Not sure how this is happening but some suggestions.
1st: Fuel at a lower fuel flow setting
2nd: Don't fuel with the car running!
3rd: Does this happen at all stations or just one specific station?

Just guessing here . . .are you saying that when you're fueling the car, the fuel filler keeps shutting off?
So-- not air getting into the car's fuel system, just a hard time maintaining the flow of gas into the tanks? If so, nut an unusual issue.
Try a different station, try rotating the handle, fuel it more slowly, adjust how deeply you stick the nozzle . . .etc . . .some cars and station equipment can be a pain.
