Gorilla Wheel Lock Question
O7 factory chrome wheels. How do I know which Gorilla Wheel locks for these wheels. Anyone have the part number? Thanks in advance.

I don't have the link but this has been discussed before and the item number posted. Maybe you can do a search to find it. Key is the lug specifications for the Vette that will determine the correct wheel lock(s). Good luck hunting!

This is an old thread but the info might still be good, other good info anyway:

Edit: This thread is about sockets but there is some lug nut info too.

Thanks for the responses. I did an initial search and couldn't find what I'm looking for. I will use a different search term to see if that helps.

alright, I've been doing a little more research and it appears the Gorilla Guard Lock offers more security than the original Goprilla locks. The "Guard" locks have the sleeve around the lock portion that spins if someone attempts to remove it.
Any comments on this?

I don't use them on every wheel stud, though - just one per wheel.
Be sure to order a second socket from Gorilla just in case you lose the first one. Keep it in a place where you can find it.

Thank you for your reply. I have looked all over and it appears these with the sleeve on them only require 1 per wheel. I'm thinking having 5 on each wheel might be overkill.
I do plan on getting another key. Can I assume you have 1 key hidden well inside your car?

The factory lugs are sort of cheap. They have a thin sheet metal cover pressed over the nut. It doesn't hurt to replace them. The above set is 20 locks that all use the same key. They do not have the guard ring around them so that is one less thing to rattle. They are also exactly the same, so they should not throw off the balance of the wheel. The key only grabs way in at the base of the nut and the outside part is nicely chromed and should never get scratched or chipped. They are not expensive either.

I use 20 Gorilla lock lugs. They all look the same. My car stays outside 24/7/365 a couple miles from the Mexican border where wheels disappear rather quickly. Getting all 20 off would cause a lot of noise and take some time. After 3 years my wheels are still there.
FYI - Just keister the extra key. That way you always have it with you

I like the 20 idea. But why not call Gorilla and ask the questions?
