low bean headlight issues, (PLEASE HELP)
i have 07 C6, i have problem in my low beam (HID) headlights they both (R+L) turn off together after drive my car for half hour. even if i drive the car with out headlights.
when i turn off the car for long time the problems goes (the HID work again) but the same problem happened again..., every day this happened to me since rainy day since month ago...
mini relay and fuses are good.
when i put a jumper cable where the min relay goes (#47) the lights turn on, but yesterday i noticed that i have no ground. where to start?

Not sure about the C6, but some cars have automatic resetting circuit breakers for the headlights. If your lights go off after a while, then come back on by themselves; you could have something causing high drain that trips the breaker for a while. Rain water in the wrong place?

I know you said the mini relay is good but maybe it is failing after it gets hot with the motor running.
Since you mentioned rain, I suggest you pull the access panels/fender liners and check for water.
There have been some recent posts from Forum Members who have found water inside what is supposed to be a sealed area.

It sounds like the headlights are drawing too much current - and a circuit breaker/relay is shutting them off. I would say a bad (corroded or loose) contact somewhere in the line, or the breaker/relay is defective.
