I have a 2005 Coupe and may be installing a set off NPP's off of a 2008. I will be purchasing the Mild to Wild kit which I will install a few days after the exhaust is on.
My question is, if I ran a vacuum line to the NPP's, without the kit, would they stay closed at lower RPM and open on hard acceleration?

NO. I did this to my 05 last year. They would stay open all the time without any vacuum. The presence of a vacuum closes the valves. Note: run the vac line from the front of the manifold, not the back. (The instructions on the m2w at that time were a bit confusing as they covered both engines.) Have fun.

If you run a vacuum line the baffles will close as soon as the engine builds vacuum. Without an exhaust controller they will stay closed with the vacuum line.
No vacuum = open baffles.
Vacuum = closed baffles.
Exhaust controller = Your choice of open or closed but no RPM control unless you buy the Sunset Orange Creations controller with RPM control.
