Racer44 is just a cyber bully.
He has "issues" and a lot of pent-up aggression.
I agree with this statement, and I for one am glad he's not a member at SV where I spend most of my time.
Some people live for conflict. I'm not one of them.

Wrong. It matters a quite a bit what wheels are made of. Weight & strength contribute toward overall performance.
Forged aluminum does not look "shiny and blingy." That is only the photographs. As I said, if you knew what you were taking about you wouldn't make these statements.
Forged aluminum has a deep, rich, multi-color hue that goes far beyond the mirror type finish of chrome plated metal. There's no comparison.
Once again, you are basing your statements on a couple online photos that caught the light in such a way to look shiny. I guarentee you they are not shiny at all. Yes they are silver colored. There the similarity to chrome ends
Get out and take a look at high quality forged/polished aluminum. They make chrome look cheap and blingy!
He is exactly right with the exception of the cheap and blingy part lol..... The wheels in my photo are nearly brand new and the car was meticulously detailed. In this photo - they are the look that I originally wanted. However, from a distance they look "Plastic" or duller. It's because of the contrast of my black car. They would look awesome I'm sure on another color. The wheels I want to put on are Chrome with a touch of black in the spokes to contrast and they will pop but the black in the spokes will prevent it from looking too blingy. That is what I'm going for. The only way to get that is to get a custom wheel. But there are differences in real life as opposed to a photo. Damn good picture if I do say so myself
Thanks everyone for your posts and I'll be sure to post pics once they are on. I"ll also have the ZR1 front splitter and side skirts on her as well so should look a bit more complete.
Sorry I just can't take anyone seriously who says they don't like chrome but DO like GS wheels. GM picked the ugliest wheels on the planet for GS.
This post epitomizes why arguements like this are silly. You think the GS wheels are butt ugly, and that's certainly your right. But myself, along with many others, think it's the best looking wheel ever on a Corvette.
I never argue about chrome vs "whatever" because it's 100% a matter of personal choice.
Yes, keep in mind that Xedes isn't into Chrome wheels when you go to buy yours.
You are an angry little man aren't you? That statement meant that he could put just about any chrome wheel up and I wouldn't be very fond of it ( I will admit that I do like the spyders and GS wheels in chrome, just not on my car).
