Wondering if anybody has had any problems with the trim piece that goes around the door release button.. I am trying/wanting to replace the door pulls with the leather door pulls. Seems like the leather is too thick to allow the trim piece to "snap" into place. Anybody else have this problem before. Thanks Tonya
What door pulls are you using? I have installed a couple sets of DSV pulls and may be able to help. Can you post up a pic so we can see exactly where you problem is?
The small "tabs" on the back side of the bezel won't snap into place. I think what is happening is the leather/seams are too thick & won't let the bezel go in far enough to engage the tabs... Here are a few pics I took. Kinda hard to pick up the small detal..
I have the exact same thing on my door pulls. My gap is a bit smaller than yours as pictured but it is there. I can easily pull out my door switch becase it never fully seats. My problem is also compounded because I have added an Carbon fiber overlay on top of the factory bezel which adds top weight and makes it want to pull out even more.
