I have an 07 coupe. When I open the drivers door the window either doesn't drop down 1/4" like its suppose to or if it does drop down, it doesn't go back up when I shut the door. The passenger window works fine. I can't find a thread where anyone else has had this problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Get in, close the doors
Start the car or turn on ignition
Raise the windows all the way up and HOLD the switches up for 3 seconds and release.
Hold the switches up again for 3 seconds and release.
Done

Just so you'll know:
1. This problem gets posted here about once or twice a week, most weeks.
2. The solution is in your owner's manual, page 87:
Power Window Initialize
After a power reconnect such as battery
replacement, the window index-up feature will not
function until the system is initialized. Once
power is restored, do the following:
1. Close the door.
2. Raise the window by pulling up the switch.
3. Hold the up switch for three seconds after the
window is closed. Release the switch.
4. Hold the up switch again for three seconds
and release.
3. Don't feel bad, it happens to many here, and posting about it is usually the fastest way to find it - we don't mind.

Glad that re-indexing fixed the problem.
But your description sounds more like a problem with the touch pad switch (on the outside door handle). Also, it seems like this problem occurs more often in hot & humid regions.
