I recently purchased a jack insert to jack my C6. To my dismay the diameter of the jack shank is to large for my jack/jacks. I though that this would be a standard size, I was wrong. Any ideas on jack type and manufacturer.
Not exactly clear what you're actually reffering to, but if it's a lifting puck that properly fit's into the chassis lift point opening's, a BMW rectangular puck work's fine. Use one along with an older Harbor Frieght low profile aluminum floor jack w/rubber lifiting pad to change out between track tire's several times a year.

The Harbor Frieght jack I got is their 3000# quick lift job, mainly because it was the only low profile job they carried at the time, and needed something to do a brake job on my C5. They had just opened their first store in my area at the time and sent me a nice discount coupon. Jack seem's to work fine for changing out Vette tire's, but still prefer my older heavy steel Sear's job for working on my other car's.

Got my 3000 LB low profile jack at HF for $59.00. Great little jack, no issues after 2 years.
