I had the 44LED on my 05. It wasn't as brite as the four round rear lights. The 39LED makes the light brighter and all 5 lights in the rear looked more uniform. So I guess the 39LED would be the better of the two.
I haven't dealt with them in years but back in 2006 I had a section of lights go out on one that I had over a year. I called them and they sent me a new one, no questions asked.
I see a previous poster had trouble with them.
I'd keep trying.
As for the splash guards they do come installed from the factory. From what I've read the rear are great but the front could offer better protection. They don't stick out as much.

Bally,
I believe WCC is West Coast Corvettes. Google them for the exact website. I think they carry the third light. If you order from them be sure to mention you are a Corvette Forum Member. I think they give a 10% or so discount.

Edit: www.westcoastcorvette.com Then do on their search "rear third light" and they'll pop right up. Good Luck
