ok guys i need a little input here. i have been actively looking to buy a 2008 z51 corvette and i've been doin quite a bit of research and i see a lot of threads comparing vettes to other muscle and sports cars and the common theme i keep seeing is that people don't feel vettes are good daily drivers or as practical as comparible cars "ex. mustang 5.0". now let me start by saying that the vette will be my second vehicle but i estimate prob 8k miles a year of driving. also, i am located in west virginia. the state doesn't invest much into road repair around here so, unless ur on the interstate, pot holes and uneven driving surfaces are not uncommon. so i'm just curious to ur guys opinions or thoughts. and i would answer this question myself with a test drive of a corvette but unfortunately the only dealer i found within 2hrs of me that has one on the lot will not allow test drives in the car.

First off a Mustang is not "comparable" to the Corvette.
Second, my wife drives her car every day spring, summer, fall...rain or shine, bad roads and good roads, I have yet, ever seen her complain about her Vette. To me, that sounds like a great daily driver.
C6 is an excellent daily driver. I drive mine year around (except snow) in the midwest with zero issues that I wouldnt have on other cars. ONLY excuse for the Rustang is if you need a back seat.
