Default still not right

after having my top replaced for the recall, the dealer said window guides above the glass was not part of the recall and put on the original parts. when i picked up the car, i noticed when the driver side window indexed up in sounded like in was bottoming out in the track. i called the dealer and he said he would order new tracks. when i got the new tracks installed it was ok for a couple days, but the noise has returned. like to find an answer, without having to go back again.

If you were having a problem with the window before the roof recall then your dealer is correct, window guides have nothing to do with the roof recall procedure. If your window now is malfunctioning as a result of something they did while trying to replace the roof, then the dealer should take care of that. I have not had the roof replacement done but have read the procedure and the side windows should not have been affected by it.
