Default LED tail lights
found some LED tail lights on the Net where the inside lights illuminate with the cross flags and the outer ones are two circles ( this is the best I can describe them). Has anyone had any experience with these. Not sure if I can mention the source since they are not a forum vendor.

IMO, those LED lights with the flags are over done and more hype than substance. I think you'll find that is the general consensus here on the forum.

I got LED tail lights off ebay and had them tinted black. They are just a circle and look great!
