Default Corvette Windscreen Question - Pic

Hey can you have the top UP and still leave this thing attached like it is here?

Or do you have to keep taking it off and putting it back on everytime you put the top up?

Also, if any of you have this, can you give me a brief review of how well it works?

Thanks all

AFAIK - You need to keep taking it off and putting it back on every time you put the top up.

Which is why someone needs to make a permanantly mounted one. A small plexi window between the humps of the tonnau cover would work great (had this on my old 350Z).

Oh GOD... no wonder why you don't see that many - yeah you would think they could design one so that maybe it moves forward a bit while the top opens then slides back when the top comes down. That really stinks man.

My roll bar stays in place with top up or down, so I don't see why they can't do the same with a wind screen?

It only takes seconds to install and remove. It takes longer to remove it from the storage bag than it does to put it in place. My wife loves ours, because she has way more hair than I do. It cuts about 50% of the turbulence out. it's really easy to use and not a problem as long as you can get in and out of your car.

It appears that the windscreen sits farther back behind the seats than you rollbar does.

If installed correctly the power top won't operate with the windscreen in place. I've found the turbulence is somewhat reduced, but it certainly isn't calm at highway speeds.

I'm very tall. I moved the tracks back, so my seats are back farther than stock a couple inches. Plus, the camera angle makes it look like the roll bar is farther up than it really is.
