For those who have installed the Mild 2 Wild control system, did you do the normal install or the zero battery drain option? If normal, do you notice any battery drain?
With the normal install what position are the valves at start - wild or mild? I want them at wild like they are without M2W installed.
I did the normal install and have noticed no battery drain even if the Corvette sits for 2 weeks. I leave the M2W on as recommended to reduce the so called battery drain and when you crank it up it stays in the open, Wild position...No complaints so far.

I do the same, no issues, fire it up and it's open.
I installed mine before there was a no-drain option, back in Dec. '07. I keep a Battery Tender Jr. on the car all the time it sits in the garage, so no drain problems here.

Normal install almost 3 years ago, always left in the wild position no problems at all.
That's my issue with the normal install - you need to remember to turn the wild setting on at the time you turn off the engine. In that position the open valves draw no current.
I chose the no current draw install - that way, when I start the engine I am immediately reminded to change the valves to Mild and there is no chance that the battery will be drained in the meantime.
