the button that cycles the system between active handling, competitve driving, and active handling off, seems to not respond quickly. At times I need to press it several times before the system reads a change, other times it responds on the first press.

anybody else have this issue? is this a problem?

Press it many times, like 25 times, cycling the internal springs of the mechanism...perhaps that will clean the switch and bring it back to normal...

According to the Owners Manual you press and hold the button for 5 seconds to make a change. Is that what you are doing?

A simple press of the button should cycle between those 3 settings. You need to hold it to get to the hidden state of all OFF. I wouldn't try that at home if I were you.

i will hold it down for well over 5 seconds and nothing. then i press it a bunch of times and eventually it will cycle through the cycles. its almost like there is a problem with the switch or somehtitng. any idea how to clean or check the switch?
