I would be hesitant saying that as mild clays (meguiar's gray, mother's, sonus green, and maybe even claymagic blue etc...) will not remove it, but if you have an aggressive claybar like some of Meguiar's Pro clays or Chemical Guys more aggressive bars it will remove it.

I use griot's clay and their speed shine. I use about 1/3 of the clay they send so if it falls to the ground I throw it out and use a new piece. I can do my 08 in under 30 minutes. Amazing stuff.

Claying is best done 1-2 times annually depending on environment your finish is left in. There are also different abrasive levels in clay, our Pinnacle Green is lighter, most are medium, and some are aggressive like Megs Burgundy. Claying can be abrasive and best done prior to polishing to remove any marring it might introduce.

Thanks for that info. I sure don't want to have to start all over again after all of those Zaino applications and different types of Zaino.

Make sure you don't forget those wheel wells

Meguiar's Hot-Shine gel works great for them.

Wheel wells are Carbon Fiber. Hard to tell by the pics.

Here's a result of one of our claybar "wax & chat" sessions. We do a car every other Thursday, easy to do and they turn out great.
