I'd like to see different floorings of your garages. Im thinking about getting rid of my ugly stained cement flooring and want some ideas. I figured posting pics of just your garage floors would be pretty lame and limited so if you have a nice overall setup in your garage....show it off. Or if you just want to give me some ideas for a floor, post it.
Was thinking about the basic black and white checkered laminate type stuff or that grey painted floor with the speckles in it. Please input your opinions....thanks
Yeah, where'd ya get it and was it expensive compared to the other alternatives if you dont mind me asking. I was gonna go the simple speckled paint route for ease and price, but that looks real nice.
I may try to add the whole garage pic later, but here's my floor. It's simply coated, and while nearly as nice looking as other's I've seen here, it is very functional. Doesn't absorb oil, and super easy to keep clean. I can just hose it off it needed, but usually I run one of those "dirt dog" robots on it once in a while to keep it clean. Particularly since the wife's daily driver (dirty on the left) is always bringing in road salt, dirt, etc
PS. Please excuse the Costco sale items (water and M-1) not yet put away.

I also have the Epoxy coating (different color, different speckling). I agree the wear-ability, durability and clean up are fantastic. I had the snap together tiles, and they did look very nice but, water from wet cars, spills leaks, snow, all drained below the tiles and it was hard to get it out, and if you didn't get rid of the standing water under the tiles it would get kind of stale and musty smelling. Just speaking from experience.

Who was the vendor that you used for you garage floor?
Here's some of the reset of the garage. Again, like the floor, not overly pretty, but very effective.
The good news is, taking pictures makes me realize how much I need to clean up, maybe found my weekend project.
And, while this shot isn't very useful, my last garage was windowless. Didn't realize how much I like windows in the garage for light and air circulation. (Except at night like this, when you don't get much light)
WOW! That's clean enough for a Doctor to do successful surgery in there! That's nice! I wish I had that much space. I have a 3 car garage but the third area is tied up with storage and the wife's car is in the second area. My floor is still just concrete.

Yes, that one is too clean to believe a car actually ever parked in there. Looks like it was staged for a photoshoot. If I had a garage that nice, I'd do a photoshoot as well. Great job.
OK, I'm also in the process of looking for a flooring idea. I was going to do the Lowe's thing with the Rustoleum product but friends said it wouldn't hold up to hot tires. Then I looked at a product called Targinol. Great products, professional garages use it but the price was way to steep for me. SO, now I'm looking into Sherwin Williams Epoxy paint. Anyone used that? I couldn't stand for something to start peeling up. That would tick me off plus look bad. Glad this was posted. I signed in to ask the same question.
