The weather here is still pretty good, and the forecast for this weekend id good too, so I'll hang in a bit longer. I do have a cover, I'll put in a bottle of Sta-Bil with a full tank of Sunoco 93 Octane, I've got a C-Tek 3300 on the way, and I'll pump the tires up and put the car on Flat Spot Stoppers. I'll most likely take the plates off before the end of the month, and the GS will have it's spot in my nice insulated oversize 3 car garage until the spring rains wash all that nasty salt away.
The so called *winter* here in San Diego is the best time to drive a Corvette. Each winter the temps plummet to well below 70° putting a chill in the air that makes the engine run at its best. Last year it almost rained!
My Corvette loves the winter and I love the winters here
Yes, in New York state the only way you can remove the Liability and Collision coverage from a car is to remove the plates, it's illegal to register a car without Liability insurance. Trust me, in the winter months here, I won't be driving it anyway, I've got an AWD Mercedes, and GMC and Ford 4WD trucks to choose from for bad weather.

Your a lucky bastage. lol.... but we here in Florida / Tampa enjoy some of that nice winter crisp air it's truly been gorgeous lately and shining up the Vette is all too enjoyable on these sunny days

Florida truly is great for driving a vert. Good car country. A bit more humidity than where I'm at, but still one of the best climates in the country.

But FL.... like Tbonez said, the weather lately has been amazing here. CA would be my other choice of place to live. Love San Diego and La Jolla is beautiful. Enjoy the winter. David
When I can no longer drive it at least once a week, it gets hooked up to my CTEK. I always try to get it out when the roads are clear of snow though so, even in extreme cold, it may get driven.
I keep my insurance year round and a California Duster helps the dust from accumulating until warmer weather comes back in the spring. I just don't have the heart to let it sit idle for four or five months.
I can't seem to get myself to put mine to bed yet. The weather has been holding in Chicago, I even drove it last Sunday to go to the Brother / Sister in laws. Got drizzled on, but hey now I get to wash it!
I will put it away in a few weeks, and start on some of the projects have planned. But for now I am still driving it. I may just keep the Ins. up as we do get some breaks in the weather through the winter, and it would be great to drive it some more!

Reason: Pictures
If the roads are dry and salt-free, I'll be driving it.
First winter with the 'Vette, but I know my '89 Turbo Trans Am LOVES the cold air.
Unless conditions are right, however, they both reside in a heated garage.

[QUOTE=lkelliott;1575940513]Yep!!! I'm in So California too. Corvette is an all year long sport here but I do use a Wolf Car Cover on my baby every night in my garage.
