How does the DOT allow "red" in the headlights? I thought anything red in the front half of the vehicle is illegal?
Yes RED is illegal. Our vette is a daily driven car here in California (probably the strictest state) and we have not had any problems with law enforcement. If your worried about legal issues i would look into the white angel eyes.

I'll leave this one alone since we tend to get our hands slapped if we make a negative comment about a vendor's product.
How bright are the CCFL lights vs, the LEDs? Do you have any night pics? I'm very interested.
I tend to like the look of the ccfl's better as the entire ring lights up. The leds are really nice if you like to have multiple colors and like to switch between the colors. I'd have to say the leds are slightly brighter than the CCFL's but not by much.
Also just to clear up the issue of the red in the headlights we have, I'll add to this a little. While running red lights lit up at night would definitely get you attention, it might be good and bad attention. As far as it being legal or not, having a part that lights up red inside of the lights isn't breaking any rules, but actually driving with said part TURNED ON is what will get you into trouble.
Granted the part IS red while its not turned on, its not emitting any light without being fired up. So the red ring inside headlight unit is no more illegal than the stock red bezels are, in a good number of C6s I see everyday.
How long does the work take? Where I love in San Diego I am thinking about driving up, having the work done and driving home????
it's a two day job. like previously stated above. the corvette headlights are one of the most time consuming headlights we have ever worked with. And we would rather not rush into them seeing that they are really expensive if something goes wrong.
