GS Front Air Splitter removal

I have 2800 miles on my 11 GS and I rub the splitter just about every day I drive it (steep driveways in office and at home). It doesn't seem worse for the wear. I've decided to leave it on.
As for where to get a new one... from what I've read on this and other forums, it's a good idea to buy a OEM directly from GM. I've heard the aftermarket parts look the same but do not perform nearly as well.

I searched GM Parts Direct but couldnt find it.
I suppose I could call my dealer? Would anyone know a part # or the proper name for this?
Ive done a few google searches for Corvette GS Front Splitter and havent come up with it.

Check with Gene Culley at GM Parts House. I believe he sells them for the Z06 and GS for about $160.00. This is about 10% of the cost of the splitters for the ZR1. They are $1500+.

The front splitter is pretty tough. Earlier this year I drove into a very steep entry driveway that caused the splitter to rub against the concrete and bend under the fascia far enough that the concrete actually rubbed some paint off the fascia. I had to put some touch up paint on the fascia but the splitter only had some rough edges and popped back into place as soon as the grinding operation was over.

I filed a bit of mine on the bottom with a fine file to get rid of the shreded plastic from some of the dragging.
I used some Aerospace 303 on it and it looks good. Eventually itll have to be replaced.
I think you have to have the mind set that its just one of those consumables.
