Thank You MacMulkin Chevrolet
Six weeks ago today I ordered a new Corvette from MacMulkin Chevrolet (a forum dealer). The car was delivered to my local Chevy dealer (courtesy delivery) this past Tuesday. I ordered the car over the phone with Tommy Jr. Great price and Tommy kept me informed of how the order was progressing. If you are considering purchasing a new Corvette, I highly recommend MacMulkin. I don't think you will get a better price any where else. Tommy Jr, is great to work with.

I just ordered my ZR1 from Tommy Jr. this past Tuesday after he obtained a promise from GM that the car would be built in December so that we can take advantage of the incentives that expire Jan 3rd.

So you are getting the $3000 incentive on your 2011 that is currently advertised as available after 10/31 only for 2010 cars? Cool!

So are you saying that you and others got $3K "Private Offer" certs that are marked as good until 1/3/2011, or just that some dealers are accepting until 1/3/2011 those "Private Ofer" certs marked as expiring 10/31/2010?

The offer I got was a GM Card Exclusive Offer for Select Cardmembers that adds $$$ that varies depending on GM car bought by Jan 3rd for either MY2010 or 2011. For Corvettes and Escalades, it is the maximum at $3000 plus whatever you already have in accumulated earnings which in my case is $2695. Since I am a Gold Card holder since the early 90's under the original program rules, I can use the entire $2695 earnings plus the bonus $3000. On an ordered car, it has to be built and invoiced by Jan 3rd to qualify as dealer inventory so hence the rush to get it built before the holiday shutdown in BG. Tommy Jr must have some juice at GM. The ZR1 order went in Tuesday afternoon and it quickly jumped to Event Code 3000 by yesterday afternoon. If I had wanted to change an option, it is now too late!!!

I got one of those $3K "Private Offer" certs too but mine was marked as only good through 10/31/2010.

For those who bought their Corvettes through MacMulkin, you can also buy the GMPP Extended Warranty through them when the time comes. They will quote you the lowest price I think you will find anywhere, no credit card fee and no sales tax if out of state.
I paid $1960 for 6 years/60,000 miles/$0 deductible.
This is a very straight shooting dealership.

Bought by GMPP from them as well, and it was easily the best price I saw.

I agree on them being a straight shooting dealership and I will certainly buy my next Vette from them but they were not the lowest price for the GMPP Extended Warranty (at least for me), Fitchner Chevrolet, a Forum Vendor was. And yes, there was no sales tax or card fees. I paid $1450 for 7 years, $0 deductable.
He quoted me:
$2505 7/56/$0
$3080 7/70/$0
And for 6/60/$0 he asked $2125.
That's for a car with more than 12,000 miles on it right?

It was the 84/56/$0 plan so it's good for 7 years or 56,354 miles, whichever comes first.
I went and dug out my receipt, it was actually $1415.00, not $1450 as I previously stated.
