I recently heard that the Mild-2-Wild switch for the NPP exhaust could be programmed into one of the visor "remote garage door" controllers....anyone give me some help on how to do this?? I have an '08 vert - THANKS
From The Instructions:
NOTE: this unit will work with either of the supplied remotes or the OEM visor mounted Homelink system. It will not work with other visor-mounted units. GM has been testing other visor units, so you may not have a Homelink system. If you have a visor unit with a single LED with the home symbol around it you have Homelink and this can be ırogrammed. If you have 3 LED’s, you do not have Homelink and you may not be able program this unit. It will still function fine with the provided remotes.
I have an 09 vert and I was not successful at programmong the buttons on the visor.
I have the sunset creations visor controller on my 09Z and it works great. I did have to read the instructions a couple times to get it right. You just need to make sure you have the code/button sequence to program into the remote.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with how many buttons there are. I could be wrong though.
You are talking of 2 different visor setups AND 2 different companies exhaust switches.
The Exhaust Commander from Sunset Orange Creations works with the newer version of the visor (3 LED, Lear Car2U) and is sold only by http://sunsetorangecreations.com/ , a Forum Vendor.
The M2W is made by someone not on CF and is sold by some CF Vendors and others. From what I've read here it will not work on the 3 LED version of the visor.

We have been making a unit that controls your bi-mode exhaust the Lear Car2u universal visor remote for about 5 years. It works wit the Lear car2u universal visor remote, which is the version that has 3 LED lights, one above each button.
I programmed my homelink to open and close the muffler flaps. Left button opens and the right button closes. Middle button still operates the garage door. Took about 2 minutes.
Don't know why people deal with M2W remotes to begin with. An old school
foot controller is the way to go.
agreed....that's what I ordered, but got the remote one shipped to me.
Oh well, I didn't want to wait so installed it. Besides, I usually run with the baffles open anyway. Only time I close it is if I'm with the Mrs. & we're on the highway.
