FOB issues
Replaced batteries and about 2 weeks later car not reading the FOB about 50% of the time. SO I dont think its the FOB. Even tried using my wife's FOB and having the same issues....... Is there a sensor located some where in the car?

What year is the vette and how old is the battery? I had an '05 with the same problem ... ended up being the battery; replaced the original battery with an Optima red top and it solved my problems.

Good call on the load test. Since my battery was the original, I figured it was time after ~5 years in the car. There are a lot of smart people on this forum that might have other thoughts/suggestions. Best of luck!

My FOB issues bug me as the batteries start to fail at only 9 months. I am going through this issue once again now, but my car is an '09 and I am possitive its not the car battery. In your case, I wouldn't be too sure. It looks like your pushing 5 years and I routinely change batteries in all my cars as they approach 5 years.
Why risk being stranded? A battery just will last just so long and you are starting to push the limmit IMO. Even if it turns out not to be the issue on failing Fobs.

Is this always happening at the same location, like your garage? It could be an interference problem at that location or something you're carrying or keeping in the car (charger, cell phone, etc)
