Does anybody have any details on this? Does it just get stapled to the rubber seal around the shifter housing? I feel like I am missing something. The e-brake boot has a plastic ring around it and snaps in place. Does the shifter have a plastic piece like that also or do I just stretch it around and staple? Did I lose something? I took my original off weeks ago so I cant remember. If this helps I got the shifting tab down where you see what gear your in but don't know what to do next. Do I install the shifter **** and then stretch the leather around? HELP PLEASE!
DSV has a manual install on their site but not an A6! I should of bought a manual!
you are very welcome.... found this info when investigating about the new apsis stuff I ordered. Cant wait til it all shows up
Are you re-doing the radio bezel also? I wonder how much that costs? I have an 07 C6 with the 08 c/f console and I hate how the leather don't match rest of car, it's a light ebony. I want to change it to titanium. I notice the link you sent me shows it in red leather from DSV. I wonder how much they charge for the re-wrap. Any idea?

Your best bet is to give DSV a call and ask them what they'd charge to replace the "pleather" on your bezel with stitched leather; talk directly with Gerardo or Lino. I have the DSV version of the 2008 bezel in my 2005 and love it. My leather trim is all ebony (like the rest of the interior) but they'll do any color(s) you want for leather and stitching. You can even go with ebony on the upper portion and titanium on the lower, just like your dashboard. The break between colors would be exactly where it is on your dashboard. Give DSV a call; they'll do a great job for you.

Looks great! Like it was meant to be that way from the factory. I will give them a call. Did you send in your console or they provided entire thing when you did yours? Do you recall what you paid .
thx

Mine's a 2005; as such, it came from the factory with a silver painted plastic bezel. I bought an entire new 2008-style bezel from DSV. They started with an original factory bezel, removed the pleather, and installed the leather trim around the perimeter. I think I paid somewhere around $700 for it; keep in mind that the price included the bezel itself, a cost that you won't have to incur since you can just have them work with your existing bezel.
DSV offers another option that is also fantastic. They can cover the entire bezel (not just the edge) in leather and/or alcantara. Here's a look:
Believe it or not I like the C/F finish. The Alcantara is a bit much for my taste but I want to get the leather upgraded and also do my console base while I am it.

Thanks for your ideas! And Happy Turkey Day
I'm in complete agreement with you. For my taste, the 2008-style bezel with the stitched leather trim is perfect. Good luck in your endeavor.
