I have a 2005 vert. On occassion, and this began about 3 weeks ago, there is a vibration noise coming from the passenger side area of the convertible top, right over the center of the window. This only happens when my foot is on the brake while I am at a light. When I release my foot the noise stops. Are there areas that need to be tightened in the frame? Anybody have the same issue?
I had a similar "noise" last summer. It came out of no where. We took off for a drive and a rattle appeared. Only at an idle with the brake on and under light accel. I could not find the cause nor could my dealer. After a few weeks of this torcher.....I ask my wife to get me an aspirin out of the glove box. She retrieved an aspirin out of the half full bottle then returned the bottle to her purse rather than the glove box. The rattle disappeared!

Thanks, I think I will remove every possible item that could rattle and go for a ride and see what happens. Thanks.
If you have a power top, it could be the manual hard tonneau release cable under the tonneau behind the passenger seat (may also be there on manual tops - no experience there). I added some velcro to stop mine from rattling (usually at idle with the top down). Just a thought......
Enjoy,
