If I were you. I would buy a USED 2010. The amount you would save in buying used would make the GM incentives seem meaningless. Which IMHO, they are.
Check your state, some states if you buy used private party, you pay ZERO $ in sales taxes. That alone can save you $5k or more.
If you have good credit, you can get 2.9% APR from credit unions for a 5 year or 4 year term.
I've seen low mileage 2010 GS's, that sold for $55k + $5k in taxes = $60k. That same car is selling for $42k. That is a savings of $18k! As I said, that $1k or $3k GM incentive is a joke.
UNLESS you have A LOT of cash on hand. In this economy, DO NOT buy new. You can lose your job and you will be UPSIDE DOWN on your car loan. There are a few members of the forum that have lost their jobs and are now losing their Vettes. Selling a car for LESS than you owe on it is salt on the wound.
Kerbeck is offering $6000 - $7500 off on 2011 models.
By late spring, early summer, that discount will climb to more than $10K off MSRP. Happens every year. I have seen discounts on new 2011s in the C6 Dealer Inventory section of this forum for over $11K off MSRP on new 2011 Vettes. Just look in that section and take your pick!
Doesn't seem kinda weird that Chevrolet is offering 0% or $1,500 on most of it's cars but the Corvette is excluded!!!
Maybe we can hope for Corvette incentives in December.
Most of the big price reductions that you see at dealers like Kerbeck come about because of their massive inventory. The only reason a discount or incentive from Chevy is ever offered boils down to demand. The Vette still sells well compared to other Chevy models if a dealer has a normal low inventory. Kerbeck usually has more Vettes on hand in one month than most have all year. So that is Kerbeck who needs to offer discounts to move their big inventory not Chevy.I still think though that our beloved Corvettes days are numbered. For the first time this and next year we will likely see less than 10K produced. That hasnt happened since 1959 when the vette was still in its infancy. Those production numbers will not support keeping the car around much longer.
The 2010s have a $3000 rebate plus 0% financing and no payments due until Feb. The 2011s have $1000 rebate only.
Well that blows...guess I should have waited just a couple more months...as I did get 0% financing but, man I would have loved to have had the $3k and no payments til Feb. That would have been SWWWEETT!

Dont feel bad... I believe it is 3k or 0% not both!

Good..cause that would have kind of made me sick...LOL!
I know Chevy is doing both on the trucks and traverse. Saw that this weekend...so, it's 0% plus $1500.00 cash plus no payments til spring. That is one heck of a deal!
the 3k is the same rebate that has been there since may of this year as I took the 3k when I bought the GS... Got lucky actually, was 1k when I ordered in late april and then got a phone call the first week of may that I had made 2k.... SWEET!!! car was built on mother's day weekebd and I picked it up on 5/20
