Default Interior Question

I am looking at buying a 08 Z06, When I was looking at a particular car I could tell the drivers side door panel was touching the every edge of the dash, where the air vent is. It has left a mark about 2-3 in long, Hard to tell but It is there. you can see it on the door panel and dash. Is this normal and if not, what might have caused this.

This is not normal from my experience. One possibilty is that the door panel was removed, for some reason, and not reinstalled correctly. Good luck with your search!

The dash piece that has the vent in it may not be snapped in completely. That happened to me one of the many times I took the piece out and reinsatlled it. Just push on it and see if it snaps in.

That's what i thought might have happened, but I'll see if Lousvette's tip is the solution. If not, I'll take it to the dealer and have it warrantied.
