Default NPP mild mode?

The NPP exhaust option on my 09 C6 is great; but there are times when I would prefer to have the option of a mild only mode (similar to a mild2wild switch). Does anyone know how that could be done?
ps did a search on CF but did not find anything.

Disconnect the vacuum to the NPP.

There was a post some time ago that described putting a split collar on the operating rod of the exhaust tip which essentially held it open about a quarter of its total travel. I tried it and it gives the car a more aggressive sound than totally stock but not the wide open sound of totally disabling the NPP. The only problem is a slight drone at low rpm with an automatic (mine is an auto). Probably wouldn't be a problem with a 6 spd.

I wish I could tell you the exact size of the collar but I failed to write it down. I bought 3 different sizes which looked about right and one of them fit.

Hope that helps you out.

Raven007 - I'm looking to see if there is a switch kit similar to mild2wild; but thanks anyway for taking the time to respond.

Wrong! If you disconnect the vacuum the baffles will be open (LOUD).

Normal operation factory NPP with no exhaust controller the baffles will be closed (Quiet) below 3500RPM anyway.

Instead of similar to mild 2 wild, why not just get mild 2 wild? Are you asking if there is something cheaper?

Guys, thanks for your responses; but it looks like my question as poorly worded.
What I would like is a switch that prevent the baffles from opening; but lets me switch back to normal operation when I want.
haljensen is right - disconnecting the vacuum opens the baffles.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
