Headlight Relay Question
I just got my car back from the dealer for some warranty work, one of the issues I was having was that driving at night the low beams started randomly flicking off and then back on...It wasn't a constant issue but would happen I'd say maybe 3 times within an hour of night driving, well the night before I took it in, I was sitting at a red light my passenger headlight went off and didn't come back on, so i turned the switch from auto to on and the light came back on...
According to the dealer they found that the relay was sticking off at times so they replaced it with part number 12193606 which i looked up and shows its a (Brakes - Anti-lock brakes - Control relay Control relay, cavalier, sunfire 1995 - ) relay, so my question is.... did they use the right part certainly doesn't look right, maybe its the same relay and the dealer didn't have the one for the vette in-stock so they substituted this one? What do yall think? Headlights seem to work, haven't had a chance to do any night driving yet.
