Another window indexing problem
I've searched the form and haven't found anyone with a similar window indexing issue. I've also reindexed the window multiple times with no luck.
The drive side window indexes up and down as you'd expect. However, either my hard top rubber hangs down slightly too far or the down indexing isn't quite as far as it used to be because the window will just slightly catch (1/32") the hard top rubber when I close the door (maybe 50% of the time). Due to the slant of the window, opening is never a problem. Also, when it's warm out the hard top rubber is flexible and never catches.
Is it possible to increase the indexing down distance? I've considered stuff rubber into the hard top seal so the window stops early thus increasing the down indexing.
Try opening your door and then push the door so it almost closes without indexing up. You'll notice the clearance between the top of the glass window and hard top rubber is extremely small.

I've not read any posts here about the exact same problem you're having, nor have I read or heard about any way to adjust the amount of indexing the window does.
Maybe someone with more knowledge about the subject will chime in.
