Default New battery install

Recently had to install a new battery (damned NC cold weather !!) and have noticed that the windows do not completely close now. I have an '05 Vertte. Is there a way to reprogram this or a reset sequence that anyone knows of other than bringing it back to the dealer (Fugget abod it !!) The clock and the programmable seats were easy but the windows I'm not able to figure out........Also, I have noticed that my digital readout for the front tire pressures are backwards, in other words right is left and left is right. Is it possible when new tires were installed that they swapped right to left wheels and the sensors are now reading opposite?? Thanks.....Gary

Look at the window indexing sticky in this forum.

I don't remember the exact procedure to re-index the Windows, but it's in your owner's manual.

Everyone has answered your question about the window index. On the question of the tire sensors? Yes, it is not only possible, it is likely that is what happened. The car registers four tire pressure sensors and they are location specific. If they were swapped R-L, L-R then they would read backwards and show the left tire pressure on the right tire pressure display. You will need to have the sensor locations retrained and it requires a Tire pressure monitor reset tool to perform this. I would recommend that you head back to the store that swapped your tires for you and ask them to reset the tire pressure sensors.
