chrome wheels
Anyone have their stock wheels chromed that is swapped out for orginal GM wheels chromed. If so do you recommend them.
Does West Coast Corvettes do a GOOD JOB?? My wifes 2011 Camaro damaged 2 wheels without damaging tires are body and she has no clue how it happened. The painted wheel paint is scratched and chipped at edge of rim no curb rash.

I don't know, Doug, but I'd find out what it takes if you ever have to collect on the 3 year guarantee. Is it just one, visible bubble or pit, or does it have to be looking like someone has chicken pox? Are there any road conditions that you can't drive the car in? Who pays for shipping and mounting/de-mounting? Who pays for shipping back to you of the fixed wheel? These are all costs that you might incur for the right to the guarantee.
I did the chrome wheel exchange with WCC in 2006. I traded in my stock painted wheels and got chromed stock wheels (GM stamped) in return for about $650. The wheels look great, better than stock IMO because the barrels are chromed and not painted. They are holding up well after nearly five years and 40,000 miles.

I did the Chrome Wheel Exchange with Corvette Central about 3 years ago for my 2006 Vert. I heard that WCC Chromes are great, but chose Corvette Central as I'm on the East Coast and saved considerable shipping costs (you pay both ways!). Cost was $645 plus $40 shipping cost back then. It cost me about $50 to ship my wheels to them after I installed the new Chromes. Installation of the new wheels was $90. All in all, well worth the $840 or so total cost for the chrome convesion. The chrome wheels are holding up....they still look like new.
