I like that and was considering the same for my car. Is that PC or is it paint? Is it a special paint for the caliper application? How did you apply?
TIA!!
At the risk of getting beat up in a dark alley, I'll ask anyway.... What about caliper covers? Seems like an easy way to accomplish the same thing without having to dissasemble, paint and reassemble the brakes.
OK, WTF is ZR1 Blue? Has GM released a new color while I was in my cave, or has my JSB Coupe just increased in value? BTW I did my calipers in a darker blue paint kit. Much better than the OEM gray, but not yelling "look at me" which is what I was looking for.

Not gunna beat you up, just poke you in the eye. The covers I have seen are way too big and just look gaudy. Just my opinion.
Depends on what color you want your other accents to be, engine, interior, etc..
Yellow is awesome, red is always nice, blue, not sure on that, and black is classy....
Now what cha thinkin??
Good point! Currently, the only accents I've got is the stock red lettering on my fuel rail covers, and a a red/chrome Chicago Blackhawks license plate frame, lol. Eventually I was thinking about changing my e-brake and shifter boots for ebony w/ either red or yellow stitching....decisions, decisions. Right now, I'm leaning more toward the yellow cuz it just looks badass! Keep those pics coming...much appreciated!
I for one can't understand why Chevy doesn't make red brake calipers an available factory installed option.
Judging by the popularity of red brake calipers on this forum Chevy would make a killing.
Or better yet just make red brake calipers standard equipment on every Corvette.
BTW - Those blue calipers on ZR1's and the silver calipers on GS's looks putrid at best.
C6Joy, Mine is paint. I know PC is the way to go however mine is a daily driver and didn't want to have to wait. Wanted to see how the paint would look and last. So far it has been great. I used Dupli-Color spray caliper paint with ceramic in it. Took the calipers off and cleaned really well. Sprayed a couple of light coats and hung them to dry. Cleaned the paint off the letting and installed. Pretty simple job.

On a Subaru that would be fine but a $50K Vette ,come on. Painting them, "Getto" for a Vette. They came PC'ed,PC them.

Like all vehicle manufactures,Corvette has to differentiate it's higher performing models somehow visually.special colors for special models, they all do it.
