A few months back had the same problem where car would just die while driving and wouldn't start back. After it dies and I push the start button everything goes black and the about 10 seconds later the dsh lights back up but engine doesn't crank at all.I've spent close to $3,000 on this now for the dealer to change out parts hoping its fixed. Seriously I'm so done with GM and the crap they produce!
what year is your wonder-wagon, and what have they replaced? I would think by now, if you've had many parts replaced/trips made to the dealer, they would have called in the team from Detroit to help diagnose it. have they?
What year? How long have you had the car? What mods have been done to the car? I remember one lemon Vette was actually the previous owner being a lemon.
Sir, I am not saying that this is the problem, but my GF's car was doing the same thing and after a lot of investigating they found out it was the mass air flow sensor. Just something to think about.
Its an 07 Z51 MN6 Supercharged. They're replaced fuse box under hood, BCM, Batter, Starter and Solenoid, battery cables. It went away for like 2 months after the starter, solenoid and BCM change, but clearly those either weren't whats wrong or they are gone again....I saw a post on LS2.com forum about the battery terminal and its behaving exactly the same as what that guys car is doing but they changed the terminals and everything and its still doing it. Could it be the alternator? I tried disconnecting the alternator and it still won't crank.

I seriously think you need to run this problem further up the food chain. I would consider this a major safety issue.
Hope you get the solution and fix soon, this is a definate safety issue, Take it to the next level of GM's customer service, keep going until someone listens and reacts, Good Luck,

Hello,
I do apologize that you are having continued trouble on your vehicle. I see that you have had a lot of work done on this issue. Was this work done at the dealership? If so, have you contacted them to see if they were going to take care of this problem being it is acting up still? I will be happy to look further into this situation if you would like. Please send me a private message with the following:
Reads like "something" is killing all power.
A lead seems to be the dash also goes dark.
Even if you press the start button, to turn off the Vette, the dash lights remain on.
Battery has been looked at, yet a cable coming off (simply definition) would kill every function.
BCM or other module seems a good place to start again. Loose/ broken connector there?
Well got it towed back to the dealership and told them that I'm disappointed that I have to keep paying them to change things that don't fix the problem and that I was nervous about the same thing recuring. They said they understand and will consider that when its fixed. So I'll let you all know as soon as I know more. Great to have this kind of support. Thanks guys!
Hope they stand behind their work and take care of you.
You should not have to pay for them to keep replacing parts if they can't properly diagnose it. Sounds like they are just throwing darts and hope something will stick. They need to repair it at no additional diagnostic time to you if you continue to have the same problem. You already paid for their improper diagnosis.
Update:Ive finally got my car back and it's running great so far. The shop changed ECM but they think it was the grounds wires they found that were loose to be the problem. So at this point I think its fixed. I'll update this again if it acts up again. I just hope this will save someone else the thousands I've had to spend to get this fix.
20 days at the dealer?? I understand this is the holiday season, but it's not like they've never seen on a corvette before. I would contact GM directly. Hope the car is cured!
I was thinking "grounding" as I read each post. It would take a bit of work to put together a complete listing of all C6 grounds, but there do seem to be enough "bucket full of gremlins" complaints to warrant having one in the FAQ for reference and troubleshooting.
