Corsa Extremes
However, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this system....like:
1. Install problems? ( as easy as NPP or harder? is it bolt on ?)
2. Claims 13 HP any validity to this?
3. Doesn't mention X pipe ...... has anyone installed and wished they had bought the X pipe too - to install at same time?
4. How about the 3.5 tip versus 4 inch tip...?? opinions ?? problems?? etc.
5. Feed back and pros and cons please!!!

Price seems nice...and HP gains vs NPP for the same price essentially seems like a winner....
Note: Dont care about wife not liking it ....or it being too loud.
Just need feedback from people who have it and hate it or love it ....etc...
THANKS everyone and Merry Christmas

No dumps or cutouts please...LOL
Thanks
by Q number...
1. Removal of the old exhaust is more work than isntalling the Corsa.
2. 13HP? Maybe after a tune
3. the GS comes with an X-pipe.
4. I thought the NPP on my GS was a bit louder. The X-treme is a little tamer but the exhaust note sounds a bit more refined.
Wishing it was louder, what I did today was block of the inner openings ( 4 rectangular slits near the entrance of the muffler) with metallic exhaust tape in several layers.
the result:
the new note is just absolute "STAINLESS STEEL SEX". I'm going to trademark that so don't anyone think about using that phrase.
Hope that helps a bit.

I now have headers, hi flow cats, mid pipe and kept my corsa sports.
I would suggest if you are going to do headers maybe get the Sports as it gets much louder with headers.
No drone and at cruising it is nice, but when you put your foot down sounds sweet. Here's a vid I made Sunday of my set up.

After checking many vendors and Corsa itself, found the best price with AutoAnything-$1,520.00 with 15% coupon for first time orders and free shipping. This price included the over-axle Corsa Sport exhaust and Corsa X-pipe. IMO, if you are going to change the stock exhaust, then change the H-pipe as well if it is stock on your car.
True bolt-on process for the exhaust and X-pipe. As other have mentioned, removal of OEM exhaust is hardest part and that is not difficult. Just follow the detailed instructions that accompany the Corsa system.
I should have done this mod long ago but was unsure of what I wanted. Probably could have gone a bit louder with the Extremes but oh well. If in doubt on sound, go to the different exhaust websites and actually listen to the sound clips of the different exhausts. Corsa as different clips for the Touring, Sport, and Extreme.
As for HP gains, I didn't care as I was interested in the sound. No headers on my car. Besides, to really determine if the HP gains were achieved, you would probably have to dyno the car before and after the exhaust swap to be accurate anyway.
Went with the quad tips but really like the single tip dual mufflers. However, the area where the tailpipes exit on a C6 is a good size space and the quad tips fill it much nicer IMO.
No regrets and my car "get more respect" now at stoplights!!

Good luck in your search for the perfect exhaust.
