Does anyone use this function successfully?

I send a destination via google maps to my onstar account and when I access virtual advisor it acknowledges the route and if I want to download to my navigation system. Answering yes starts the download and soon after virtual advisor advises the download failed and forwards me to an advisor who only knows how to send turn by turn instructions. Every time I am transferred to tech service I wait on hold till the call finally drops.

Is the e-map service really available?

And that means options shouldn't work the way they are set up to?
