Very simple. The emblems are attached to the body panels with an adhesive - there are no nuts to worry about removing/holding the emblem to the underside of the body panel(s).
Several ways to go about it, but I find using a piece of fishing line the easiest. Just take about 18" of fishing line, a couple of wraps around your fingers, start at one corner of the emblem and start sawing (pulling the line back-n-forth) working your way around the emblem, applying pressure to lift the emblem as you go. The emblems are centered using pins, attached to the back of the emblems (front/rear - no nuts holding them in place... just adhesive). As you are sawing/using the fishing line, working your way around the emblem, you'll hit the pin(s)... (2-each emblem) just work your way around each pin as best you can... you may even want to re-position the fishing line (remove/reinsert) between each pin to continue the process of separating the emblem from the body panel. Shouldn't take long at all, just take your time, be gentle not applying too much pressure to pry the emblem away from the body panel as you go.
I'm sure there are other ways as well, but I've used this procedure with several vettes... never a problem. Hope this helps.
