Just wondering if anyone has used these stainless shift ***** for the C-6 http://www.southerncarparts.com/corv...ob-p-3154.html
I wanted to drop the height of the shift **** about 1 & 1/2 inches or so, but it doesn't look like from the pic that it drops it much at all. The C-5 pics look a lot lower, but not the C-6 pics.
Also, has anyone who has installed the heavy stainless **** had problems with the extra weight? It seems like it might feel nice underhand to have a little extra mass, but I'd like to find out from someone who has used one before I purchase one. (Got a little birthday money to spend )
Does anyone have another suggestion on a lowered stainless shifter ****? I'd love to hear what you think. I have searched for this info on this forum but haven't read much specific to my question, so that's why I ask.
It seems like it would be very cold in the winters you get in Jersey. I use mine as a hand rest when going light to light in city driving. I can imagine it taking quite some time to warm up to the touch.
no, I looked at some others that are a composite material (probably cheap junk reclaimed plastic, but who's counting?) that say they lower the height 1". sounds impressive. I'll see if I can find it.
aluminum or stainless wouldn't be my first choice for both heat and cold, but if it's your thing, have at it.
