A local dealer has an 09 coupe with 3200 miles on it that I'm looking into. A search of the VIN shows that it came with the 1SZ package. Can someone out there tell me what that includes or point me in the right direction. My Corvette Black Book is out of date and the dealer only list what is standard equipment for a vette in his ad.
Sure you don't mean 1LT package ? which is the base package.
Could be but 1SZ is an option code I received when I put the VIN in the GM VIN decoder and it shows 7,537 being made with this code and another 2,889 with the 1LT code.

Reason: add info
Never heard of this before! So it's a 1LT but with a savings of 1sz? OP,post the VIN if you can.
As requested 1G1YY25W595111026. Here are two of the codes found on the Comprehensive GM Vin Decoder website for this VIN. Did not see the Z51 code here though.

Still looking for anyone out there who has an 09 with a 1SZ option code so I can find out what it is. Thanks.
Just to clarify, 1SZ isn't an RPO option code. It's one of those cryptic codes used by GM to denote something for the car, like those weird codes we see on build sheets for various electrical harnesses. They are codes but not RPO codes seen by the consumer. I suggest if you want more explanation send a PM to Talon90. I think he's probably the best resource for this kind of thing.

Your probably right but I found it on the GM VIN Decoder site listed under RPO codes and that is why I'm asking. I'm thinking it may be something similar to the 1SB option package code I have on my 05 because it was listed immediately under the 1LT code.

As has already been stated, RPO 1SZ is called "Preferred Equipment Savings". It's nothing more than a marketing code for pricing purposes. Knowing that car car has 1SZ tells you nothing about the car's actual content. If you want to know which Preferred Equipment Package is on the car in question, you need to check for RPO 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, or 4LT.
