Has anyone had a problem with binding of the rear diff while turning sharp in reverse or drive at low speed? My wife's 07 is doing it and the car only has 5k on it.

If you are talking about the "clunk" in the rear, that has been standard on Corvettes for at least 40 years. Do a search. The latest fluid seems to have worked on mine for over a year now.
You might just be feeling the affects of the wide tires slipping..
The width of the tire causes a binding effect in a tight turn as the
inside part turns at a different rate than the outer. It feels likes its binding when turning full tight at slow speed.. Normal
Than you for the information. I know about the slight clunk as my 66 used to do that. This one is more of a binding that makes the car feel like it is hopping, or skipping. The wide tires just may be what is causing it.
See if a fluid change in the rear end doesn't prove to be the cure - - there's always going to be some front tire slippage at low speed turn-to-lock, but rear end noise is typically solved by a fluid change.

Thanks I have that one on my list of to do's before summer. Plan is we are going spend 6 weeks in the car driving coast to coast....Just hope I don't have to put wifey in the trunk.

Change the gear oil and use the latest gm dexron 75w-90 . It will cure the problem.
Took the car to the dealer about 2 weeks ago and had the fluid changed and have had no problems with the rear end since. 300 miles now and working like it should.
Thanks for all the response.
