Well I hope you southern boys have enough sense to leave your Corvettes at home today.

I saw on the news this morning someplace in N Carolina I believe where a 4x4 was pulling out a Silver C6 which went off the road in the snow and ice. To see a big yellow tow strap hooked to somthing under a C6 and just being pulled made me sick. I wonder what it was attached to?

I drive mine each day but on snow days I stay home. If I have to get out I take the wife's SUV. Here in Arkansas there was enough snow for me to stay home yesterday.

Pretty fortunate not to get any of that white stuff here in Savannah.

Looks like someone didn't realize that snow and a C6 don't mix:

Default Snow down south

There were even reports from Mississippi and Louisiana that snow and freezing conditions has made driving conditions hazardous. Many of the towns profiled didn't even have snow removal equipment. The entire city of Atlanta, for example, only has 8 snow plows!

If you have enough money to get a vette. You have enough to get a beater to drive in bad weather common guys.

I brought mine home from dinner Sunday night just as the snow began. Been sitting in the garage on a tender since. Took the Yukon out just to test the 4wd in the snow...then it became ice and since I did not have to be anywhere...

The snow would have been fine; about four inches where I am west of Atlanta. But that half inch of frozen rain on top of the snow changed everything. Even my dogs don't like it...ice layer on top. Pretty rough for Atlanta, and I've been here almost 25 years.

We are expecting 10"-17" here in MA starting tomorrow morning with winds up around 50 MPH later in the day. It looks like it will be a good ole Noreaster. I've got 5 cars hunkered down in the heated garage for the winter and I just went out to get gas for the generator ... just in case! I hope that my 4WD Amigo beater survives one more winter. It still looks and runs great but the frame is all rotted out. Salted roads and cheap steel do not mixed well!

Snow, what the heck is that

I took these pictures this morning just up the road from my house, I love the reflections of the palm trees. Although by the time Jerry Brown is finished I don't know if I will have a house left

My DD is sitting on jack stankds. Polished Gumbys and Calipers are getting powder coated. Perfect week to have it done. I went to local store in truck tonight. Not pretty here in the ATL.

I could use more ground clearance, but the F1 Supercars did very well thank-you.
