Default Rear Suspension sqeaking creaking

My car is 07 z51 lowered with hardbar bolts. I have this awful creaking noise coming from the rear suspension that seams worse in the cold. Just getting in and out of my car the suspension squeaks. It is any time the car goes up and down. I jacked it up to look and car would creak each time I pumped the jack. All the bolts seemed really tight. Any help or input would greatly be appreciated.

The dealer had already replaced those for me. The end links made more of a pooping noise like when you snap your nuckles. I am going to lube the joint and see what happens, just bought a grease gun.

I have a similar problem. Seems when I turn at slow speeds left, my suspension makes a poping noise. Seems to have gotten worse since its gotten colder out. Previous owner had the car lowered with bushings. Help

That sounds like the tie rod ends, I had that issue too like a year or two ago.

I went thru 2 sets of the WCC lowering bolts, and they kept wearing out where it would be metal on metal. I always lubed them but they would only last 3-5K miles. I got factory bolts on the back now and cut them, I will never use aftermarket bolts again

Have you done anything with the sway bars? This sounds like something sway bars with poly bushings would do. My 81 does it, I have to get under there and re-lube the bushings.

My poping was coming from front and rear sway bar bushings/endlinks...dealer replaced under warranty. All is good now.

I had greased the derk fittings in the rear and my car was silent for about two weeks and the creaking came back. From other things I have read I believe the Mobil 1 grease is the culprit, It has been known to get oily and leak back out. I am going to try the valvaline synthetic and see if that helps.

To the guy that posted about WCC lowering bolts, yea those things are horrible. Were worn out on my car in 6 months, and I replaced with Hardabar lowering bolts. Hardbar was bad customer service, but seems to be a superior lowering bolt for over a year now.

My 05 vert does the exact same thing! Worse when cold but every time I get in or out of my car is creakes. Yoy can even push down just a little on the rear hatch and it creaks! My car is an 05 non-z51 so I don't have anyplace to grease. Also, my car is lowered on the stock bolts. Can anyone tell me how to stop the creaking, it drive me crazy and makes a 60K car sound like a 5K beater!

I greased the derk fittings again, but this time with Valvoline synthetic grease. So far the noise is gone. I had used mobil 1 before and it leaked out. It got all over the inside of my wheels, and was getting on my brakes.

Mine was just like how you explained it. Have you checked for yourself just in case they put the derk fittings on your car? If not you may need new tie rods.

The car has less than 30K miles on it. Tie rods will not go out that soon. It's got to have something to be with the lowering of the car on stock bolts.
