Thanks for the props guys! The tile I used was called raceway. 14"x14" and I paid $1.99 a tile. I had researched quite a bit when making the choice and this was one of the best priced tile I could find.

Very nice. I've thought about doing the floor in mine also, but with all the snow and crap we get on the garage floor during the winter I'm afraid it would just get trashed so for now I'm just sticking with the ugly concrete floor. Love the paint and TV even though I don't have one in my shop.

Beautiful garage indeed. Kind of hard for me to work ON my garage during the winter as it is kind of sealed up like a tomb and crowded ..... But I am working on my wifes Vette a lot...notice new hood (before prep and paint).

The unit is a heat pump based system and pumps out hot air even with outside temps dipping into the low 20's high teen's. Here is the wall mounted air handler>>

Would be a nice addition to your garage!

Michael
You've done the two things I'd love to do in mine. Two questions, if I may: #1...how much did your HVAC system+install set you back? and #2...how tall is the ceiling in your garage? I've always been afraid mine isnt tall enough to fit two cars on/below a lift like that, but yours doesnt appear that tall from the picture.

Thanks!

...and to the OP...your garage came out great!

I disagree. I've had my laptop in the garage for reference. If I had the TV I would hook it up for easier reference while working.

Nice Garage, You can get a lift in there. My Garage is only 24x30 and I had room. I can't raise it all the way up but I'm going to build another bay with 12 ft ceiling to move it over into.
