I'm washing my car today. About 40 degrees outside. My neighbors will laugh at me,but they don't have a C6 and wouldn't appreciate why I would do it anyway.A little beer drinking helps in the cold too.
Speaking of Mr. Clean, don't forget to use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the scuff marks on the inside of your car doors. A light swipe, and those scuff marks are gone.
I have had several 35 degree F wash sessions this winter. Not the Corvette though, it is safely stored for the duration. My neighbors must be used to the sight by now; I am a car wash nut!
Yea, I've slipped on the ice washing my car but it goes straight into a heated garage when the 'washing' is done. Finish it up in there with my refrigerator and tv.

I've done that too! Its little things like that, which let me enjoy being a fanatic.
I did it last month while it snowed. Wash it when the temps are in the mid-20s at night. LOADS of fun. It's one of the times when ONR came in real handy. I didn't have to drag the hose out.

My GS remains under cover is my garage until the end of April, if the temperatures ever got above freezing here in mid Michigan, I would surely give my 4-door Malibu a good hand washing, underneath, outside and inside.............
I love winter so much I can hardly stand it..................

Me too. It's very comfortable being among so many obscessive-compululsive people. Nice to know I'm not the only one who thaws out a hose to wash the cars.
When you are done, you can come do mine, I'll buy the beer. It was -3 degrees this morning. Vette is clean and in the garage but the DD looks like crap and covered in salt.
Lucky for me it's never that cold here in Southern California. I did, though, come home early from work on a Friday during the recent rains....I wanted to wax the car sometime over the weekend, so I pulled into the driveway and washed the car during a downpour. My neighbor came out to get his mail and looked at me like I was nuts!
I trimmed my bougainvillea trees today. Took the vinyl cover I bought for the hatch area and trimmed it so I can get into the cubbies and then spray painted it black as the milky white didn't cut it for me. Then the temp hit 69 so it was time for a spirited drive out and about. I don't know why I didn't move to AZ years ago!
I've washed my car's outside on some pretty cold day's in the 40-50 degree range. Really not much of a problem when I fill the wash bucket with 100 degree plus water in the basement slop sink. Find some basic rubber glove's can help out a bit when towel drying. How bad can it be, compared to running a snow blower on a zero degree day, having half the snow blasting back into your face.
