If you turn on Accessory, then turn it off; the Retained Accessory Power feature will let your radio run, windows work, etc for 10 minutes. I wonder if you lose anything in RAP compared to Accessory? Or to put it another way, I wonder if RAP is less drain on the battery than Accessory?
Never have, I honestly never drive the car its on 05 with 7,300 miles on it. I get so busy at work in NYC and I leave the car at my house in CT, and I am the original owner

You've had your Corvette since 2005 and you don't know what the accessory mode is used for!
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Honestly, I was just saying what many that have read this post have been thinking but wouldn't post.
No offense meant, but really, why haven't you familiarized yourself with your car in all that time?
Also, as others have stated, the 'Accessory Mode' is not unique to the Corvette. It's on almost ALL cars that I have ever owned.
In your other car(s) that have a key ingition switch, have you ever turned the key to the left instead of to the right? If you have, then you have entered into the accessory mode.
I'm sorry but I really can't believe that this thread was actually posted...no offense.
