Default Battery Problems...(with Poll)

I have a theory...

Poll time-out sucks. I was going to put a poll in to see if NAV made a difference or not. Meh.

Anyway, those of you with issues, do you have NAV? Just curious if most of you do or not.

No Nav, but also no problem. Stock battery from 2006. Use BT all the time.

Any newer car not driven regularly will drain the battery.

06 with NAV and original battery lasted 38,000 miles. It was still good when I replaced it but I did not want to press my luck. Not counting the earlier problems with the 05 manual Vettes, I think most people who have problems are ones that do not put many miles on their cars or have added electrical mods that have a parisitic drain. Of course there is always exceptions.

06 w/ Nav, only battery problem was when the original battery died a few months ago. Replaced, not a DD, no problems.

06 with MN6, no onstar but all other options including Ipod interface and radar detector. No problems with Nav or HUD either. 4+ years on OEM battery never a problem with car sitting for up to 6 weeks. Replaced OEM battery in Oct with Red Top and no starting or battery problems... ever with this car. Car is on battery tender over the winter....

06 bought two years ago with 9,000 miles. It already had an aftermarket battery when purchased. This past Monday the Sirius SIR-GM1 converter just all of a sudden went dead. [I do not like XM]. Radio still worked fine. Next day, battery dead. Charged it and it was dead again the next day. The car now has a new NAPA battery. Car is a 3LT with navi. I could not find a dedicated fuse link for the satellite receiver so I disconnected it and ordered a new one after Sirius customer service could not get the existing one to reactivate!
