Hi, Gene Culley got me a GMVIS report which I really appreciate, I don't want to bother him with any questions about it, can anyone help out with:
1. Does the report give only warranty work or all work done at a dealership?
2. Is there any way to find out what dealer did the work?
3. On the report is a View Details "button". It takes me to a site that is passworded. Any way to access this site?
4. An item reads: J1000 - Pan And/Or Gasket Oil Replace. What's that all about? Which was replaced? Can I find out in #3?

I can't answer all your questions, but I'm a bit surprised about the last one. While the labor charge (under warranty) might be the same for pan or gasket replacement, obviously the cost for each item would be significantly different. Let's hope someone with more answers has some insight.

It will indicate the dealer that did the work. If you need it, pm me your VIN, I'll be glad to run the history for you. Send me your direct email address too. The report emails better in regular email than it does through PM.
