Have been taking note in these threads with regards to...RELAY #46. What is the reason some feel that this is the DBS source and what exactly is that relay a power pathway to on the car? I believe it says on the fusebox cover..... HDLP WASH..... which I am assuming is fusebox talk for headlamp washer. I wasn't aware that headlamp washers were an option and even if they were and your model car didn't have them, why put the relay in place in the fusebox?

The washer is on the European Vette not the ones here. The reflash is the 98% fix for DBS.

Thanks for the input. Yet the question remains...why put the relay in an American car if the option is not even available???

simplicity of production. if you have to add in things that aren't already part of the loom, box, etc. becomes much more difficult to do. for instance, many 1LT cars come with slots, wires, etc. ready for 2LT, 3LT, etc.

Yes,all Vettes are pretty much equipped to get equal amenities.They all don't get them,but they could.Hence the spot in my 1LT dash with the cover on it for the HUD I didn't get from the factory.I did add it though.
