I changed the treble, mid, and bass equalizer in my nav settings, but noticed every time I got in the car they would seem to be reset back to the middle for each treble, mid, and bass. Then I noticed it seems that I had to go through each station and set them individually. Is this normal? Is their a way to change them universally for all stations? Thanks!
It's normal, and you even have to set everything for driver #1 and then driver #2.
There may be a way to set them all at once, but i haven't found it. OTOH, I haven't been looking much since installing the PAL and a Ipod a year ago...
Possibly that is the way all the C6 radios work. We don't have Nav and I too experienced that the tone setting reverted to center except for one station that always retained the treble setting. It finally dawned on me that I had played around with the tone settings when we got the car back in '07 and never got around to completing what I started.
Each preset in FM and XM along with CD has individual configurations for tone on my NAV. I don't believe there is a way around it. Once you do it once, you don't have to change it.

I've been critical of the Bose system, but I kind of like that feature. I want different settings for music vs news/talk radio.

I connect into the inactive XM unit then plug in my Android phone to access my audio files. Although I have a really nice player w/ a 12 slider EQ on my phone, I also utilize the settings in the Bose system displayed on the NAV screen.
