Waiting for 12 hrs @ Sebring...not sure why. The Porsches are certainly represented by Jorg Bergmeister at the pole.

Looks like Vette fans will need to wait for the ALMS series to get underway March 19th.

I am only guessing but I think it's all about sales and getting the camaro and Cadillac in from of the public. Johnny oconnel went from vette to Cadillac for this racing season.

Well... IMO not a race unless Vettes are there. It's an emabrassment to Chevy & vette owners. Decided to do taxes instead. Was rather awesome to Watch the Camaro.

Why be embarrassed? It's not an ALMS race and is clearly a race they just aren't in. Stevenson Motorsports evidently used to run 2 Vettes here but switched to 'Maros.

ALMS has the Vettes and is arguably the most prestigious road course series.

For me these road course races are the most exciting races to watch. Multiple different performance cars etc... Just good fun to watch. Oh then through endurance 24 hrs into the mix just crazy difficult on the teams and machines. Woo hoo. Go Chevy!!!

BTW ... is the Mazda RX-8 n e good? I find it hard to believe they do this well. I love Camaro's, but beating a Porsche?

As a reference point, I've seen an instructor during a HPDE turn 2:15 laps in a stock C6, runflats, automatic, F55.

Wow, that's just ridiculous! I do track days with a local motorcycle club, been to Pocono, VIR, & NJMP... I'm frigging in awe at the lap times I see the pros running at VIR & NJMP....

Yeah ... love that commercial. It played a bunch of times during the preview show. May have been more effective if they were RACING!

Which commercial was it... The america still builds rockets!? Love that commercial! Before I bought my c6 that commercial gave me chills when it hit that corner sideways!
